Challenge: Jaime was touring nationally with The Edgar Allan Poe Show when an unexpected request came in. The head of the steampunk convention Clockwork & Alchemy asked Jaime to emcee their next event even though she knew absolutely nothing about steampunk.
Solution: Instead of pretending to be an expert, Jaime leaned into what always works. She brought sharp timing, magnetic energy, genuine curiosity, and a natural gift for connecting with any audience. Her fresh perspective turned “new to steampunk” into an unexpected advantage.
Result: The event was a complete hit. Fans loved her. Organizers raved. Jaime did not just fit into the steampunk world, she became part of it. The convention went so well that she is now never allowed to not host Clockwork & Alchemy.
Challenge: Arica Tuesday needed a project that could stand out in a crowded creative space. The concept was strong, but it required focused writing support and a distinct musical voice to bring it fully to life.
Solution: Jaime joined the project as a writer on what would become Atta the Altered, shaping the story with clarity, personality, and emotional impact. She then collaborated with Yoav Landau of The Living Tombstone, whose massive online following and unmistakable sound added instant recognition and creative momentum to the project.
Result: The collaboration elevated the project into something bold, memorable, and ready for the spotlight. With Yoav fully involved and enthusiastic, Jaime secured a direct quote from him, giving the project a powerful boost in credibility and reach.
Challenge: J. Michael Roddy was assembling a collection of short stories for his new book, Haunters, and needed one final voice to complete the project. Jaime was asked to “throw something together,” drawing inspiration from his own blog posts.
Solution: Jaime treated the request with intention, crafting a piece that blended his storytelling style with the eerie, atmospheric tone Roddy is known for. The result fit seamlessly into the collection while still carrying Jaime’s distinct voice and perspective.
Result: The story earned its place in the final book. Jaime is now officially featured in Haunters by J. Michael Roddy, a respected creator in the haunt and entertainment world. What began as a casual request became published work and a lasting professional credit.
